KYOCERA AVX Plant in Lanškroun
KYOCERA AVX opened their training center in October 2018 with the aim of supporting secondary technical education in the Pardubice Region and assisting technical colleges and apprentices with teaching technical subjects.
Students and pupils of study programs - electrician, technicians, electrical engineers, electo-mechanical engineers, etc. have the opportunity to be in an education center where theoretical information and practical experience are available on production machines, which are located only for their needs.

The training center (324 m²) is divided into various parts:
- Auditorium - which is equipped, among other things, with lecturer’s computer, projector with screen and a magnetic whiteboard
- Workshop - which is equipped with various machines (eg Haberer, Seiken and other types of presses), tool-boxes and tools, workstations and mobile magnetic board.
- Changing room - with hangers and benches
In the auditorium - students and pupils get acquainted, for example, with work procedures and regulations, In the workshop - how to use the machines, maintenance, and find out how to dismount and assemble machines, therefore identifying the various electrical and mechanical elements of the machines.
Information boards are also located in the training center, which bring students closer to the whole production process of capacitors.
The greatest bonus for students and pupils is, that working under the guidance of the KYOCERA AVX specialists, they will gain practical experience, basic working habits, learn to perform specific work activities and eliminate the potential fear of coming in contact with the machines.
This experience can also be used in subsequent professional training within our company.
